Madelyn's First Zoo Trip

We took Madelyn for her first trip to the zoo this summer. She already loves animals so much. Not just ours...the neighbors, ones she sees on tv or in a book. Before this trip, she'd only seen snakes in books and said she loves them. I assumed once she saw a real one, she would change her mind...but I was wrong. :)

Madelyn's First Haircut

The pictures are a few months old. My mom and I took Madelyn to get her haircut. It wasn't anything dramatic but they trimmed it and they had her favorite vehicle to sit in - a firetruck! She didn't smile much but she did have a good time or maybe it was because my mom bought her a bunch of new hairbows while we were there.

Halloween 2011 - Our Little Strawberry Shortcake

I wasn't able to get good pictures because this 2 year old was ready to go as soon as it got dark. :)

After we finished walking the street. She got enough candy to last until next Halloween.

And the dogs have figured out that she has candy. They stayed close just to see if she would drop any of it on the floor.
